Eligibility criteria

Professor (Reproductive Bio Medicine)	1) Medical qualification included in the first or the second schedule or part II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.2)Postgraduate degree in Surg./Med./Obst. & Gynae./ Such as MD/MS or equivalent degree of a recognized University. 3)Three years administrative experience in a responsible position.	50 years
Professor (Epidemiology)	Medical qualification included in the first or the second schedule or part II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of education qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in section 13 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and Post graduate degree such as MD (CHA)/ MD (PSM)/ MD (Community Medicine) or an equivalent degree of a recognized University / Institute.	50 years
Reader (Reproductive Bio Medicine) – Medical	Medical qualification included in the first or the second schedule or part II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Reader (Reproductive Bio Medicine) – Non-Medical	Good academic record with at least 50% marks in Master’s degree in Physiology, Zoology or Biochemistry with specialization in Reproductive Endocrinology from a recognized University / Institution and Doctoral degree in Physiology/Zoology/Biochemistry/Male contraception/ Reproductive Endocrinology or equivalent published work in the concerned area from a recognized university / institution.	50 years
Reader (CHA) – Medical	Medical qualification included in the first or the second schedule or part II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in section 13 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and Post graduate degree in Surgery/ Medicine/ Obst. & Gynae or equivalent degree from a recognized University / Institute.	35 years
Research Officer (HG)	Master’s degree in Behavioral Science/ Economics/ Statistics/ Demography/ Operation Research, Management Sciences/ Public Administration/ Environmental Sciences/ Education/ Public Health Nursing etc. (as per requirement of the post) of a recognized university or equivalent.	35 years

Selection Process

Completed Application along with self attested photocopies of certificates in support of educational
qualifications, age, and proof of belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Physical Handicapped and experience etc. must be
attached with Application Form, and it should reach the Director, The National Institute of Health & Family
Welfare, Baba Gangnath Marg, Munirka, New Delhi-110067 on or before 11.01.2021.

Application Fee

General/OBC :- Rs. 500/- in Indian Postal Order / Demand Draft.
SC/ST/Women/PwD & Departmental Candidates :- No application Fee.
