Eligibility criteria

Assistant Engineer (Electrical)	a) Full-Time Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent Degree* from a University duly recognized by Central Government in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering. b) Must have passed Hindi/ Sanskrit up-to matric standard or in Higher Education.	20 to 42 Years
Assistant Engineer (Mechanical)	a) Full-Time Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent Degree* from a University duly recognized by Central Government or a State Government in Mechanical Engineering. b) Must have passed Hindi/ Sanskrit upto matric standard or in Higher Education.
Assistant Engineer (Civil)	a) Full-Time Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent Degree* from a University duly recognized by Central Government or a State Government. b) Must have passed Hindi/ Sanskrit upto matric standard or in Higher Education.

Age Limit

Minimum age shall be 20 years and Maximum age shall be 40 years as on 08/01/2021.

Selection Process

The candidates/ students appearing in final year/ semester having essential qualification as on 08-01-2021 will only be eligible to be appointed as Assistant Engineer/Electrical & Assistant Engineer /Mechanical under Electrical cadre and Assistant Engineer/ Civil cadre in Haryana Power Utilities i.e. HVPNL, HPGCL, UHBVN & DHBVN.
The candidates who have acquired the essential qualification above and must have qualified the GATE-2019 or GATE- 2020.
The selection of the candidates in each category would be done by the HPUs from the eligible candidates on the basis of result of the GATE-2019 or GATE- 2020.
The scheme of marks in respect of selection to Assistant Engineer (Group B) post shall comprise of total 100 marks.
Weightage of GATE Exam: 80 marks.
Socio-economic criteria and Experience: 20 marks.

For Female candidates of all (General and Reserved) categories of all States :- Rs. 125/-
For Male candidates of SC/ BC-A/ BC-B/ ESM/ EWS categories of Haryana only:- Rs. 125/-
For all Persons with Disabilities (Candidates of Haryana only). :- No application Fee.
